【訳】

それは、私の感情を検閲したり、そのような感情が私を蝕んでいくよりもはるかに良いことです。

【解説】

ちょっとわかりにくい。censor（to remove the parts of a book, film/movie, etc. that are considered to be offensive, immoral or a political threat）だから、censoring my feelingsはそのまま「感情を検閲する」でいい。怒りや不安といった感情を積極的に除去するということだろう。"letting them eat away at me"の"them"は”my feelings”をさす。怒りや不安といった感情を放置することで、自分自身が精神的に苦しんでいくことでしょう。
