灘高校 2016年度入試問題（英語） 第2問

　2016年度第2問は文法問題です。文法的な誤りを訂正する問題です。5問ありますので、一つ一つ見ていきましょう。

1.   So honest and smart is the student which everyone respects him.

2.   The woman you met her yesterday is our math              teacher.

3.  One of the students in this room are against the plan.

4.  Answer to the questions right now, and you'll go home.

〈解答〉which→that

〈解説〉so that構文の倒置の形です。これは中学生にとっては難しいでしょう。倒置は文法書の後ろの方に出てくるので、手薄になりがちです。高校の文法書は隅から隅まで読むか、高校レベルの英文（高２のリーダー以上センター未満）をたくさん読んで勘を養うかしないと「確信をもって」解答できないと思います。

　The student  is so honest and smart that everyone respects him.（その生徒はとても正直でかしこいので、みんな彼を尊敬している）

　'so honest and smart'を強調するために文頭に置いて、主語（the sutudent)と動詞（is)をひっくり返せばOK.

　 So honest and smart is the student that everyone respects him.〈解答〉

〈解説〉関係代名詞の基本中の基本。

  The woman  is our math teacher. You met her yesterday.

を関係代名詞を用いて一文にすると、herをwhoに変えて、who you met yesterdayとなる。これをwomanの直後に置く・

  The woman who you met yesterday is our math  teacher.

　目的格の関係代名詞は省略するから

　The woman you met yesterday is our math  teacher.〈解答〉

〈解説〉これも基本。one of~は「～の一つ」だから単数。ちょっと簡単すぎでしょ。

〈解答〉toを削除

〈解説〉answerは他動詞なので、前置詞のtoは不要。自動詞と混同しやすい他動詞は文法書のはじめに載っています。代表的な動詞を覚えておきましょう。

   merry, enter, discuss, approach, mention, attend, reach, resemble

   「めだまあるある」で覚えましょう…answerが抜けてるし。

〈解説〉間接疑問文の問題。これも簡単。過去形にするのを忘れないように。
